7" ep: "Radio Kill" b/w "Tuber",
"Quentin's Theme", "Record Store Girlfriend"
September 1996 saw the second SNAP! release, a 7" ep by IDLE, out of
NYC. They released their second CD, "Gravity Rocks", on Caroline
subsidiary Big Deal in early 1996. We are more than honored to have an entire
ep of non-cd, previously unreleased songs. The band rocks. They play guitar.
They sing. What more can we say? "Radio Kill" reflects the burgeoning
cynicism of someone who's been in the "industry" for too too long
(guitar Will Croxton has been in bands such as DT & the Shakes and Girltrain
over the past decade, yet has still retained his boyish good looks). The
b-sides are some of the band's favorite pieces of sound.
Other releases by Idle on Big Deal (look for their 3rd CD spring 1997):
"Downer's Pharmacy" CD
"Gravity Rocks" CD
